Jayne joined the group in 1984 and is delighted to see so many new members joining and the group going from strength to strength. She served for several years as a trustee of the Adult School Hall. She is also one of the founding members of The Palace Players in Ibstock. Having performed in numerous productions, her favourites include “The rise and fall of Little Voice”, “Calendar Girls” and “The Flint Street Nativity”. Jayne encourages anyone with an inkling to get involved in any aspect of amateur theatre to run away as fast as they can, as it will take over your life completely. Take up axe-throwing, gerbil racing....anything!
